How to archive and unarchive your emails in Gmail


You can archive and unarchive emails in Gmail to keep your inbox organized without deleting important messages. Here's how to do it:


To Archive an Email:


1.Open Gmail:

   • Go to your Gmail account and log in if you're not already.


2.Select the Email(s):

Click the checkbox next to the email(s) you want to archive. You can select multiple emails at once.


3.Click the Archive Button:

Once you've selected the email(s), click the "Archive" button located at the top of your Gmail inbox. It looks like a box with a down arrow.


4.Archive Confirmation:

The email(s) will be removed from your inbox and placed in the "All Mail" folder. You can access archived emails by clicking "All Mail" on the left sidebar.


To Unarchive an Email:


1.Search for the Archived Email:

If you know the specific email you want to unarchive, you can use the search bar at the top of Gmail. Type "in:all" followed by keywords or the email address to search for archived emails.


2.Select the Email:

When you find the archived email you want to unarchive, click to open it.


3.Move to Inbox:

In the email, you'll see an "Move to Inbox" button. Click it.


4.Email in Inbox:

The email will be moved back to your inbox, making it easily accessible.


You can also use the "All Mail" folder to access archived emails. Simply open "All Mail," find the archived email, and move it back to your inbox using the "Move to Inbox" button.


Archiving emails is a great way to declutter your inbox while keeping important messages accessible.
